BICYCLE MECHANIC/ CUSTOMER ADVISOR

THE ROLE

We are a leading bike rental specialist, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. We are looking for an experienced team member for an exciting opportunity at our shop based in Calpe. You’ll be part of a small but dynamic team, providing high levels of customer service on all fronts.

The role requires someone that can multi-task in delivering excellence, and selling products in a role that will vary day-to day. The applicant should be flexible as well as a good problem solver and be able to work efficiently and independently. 

Good, general communication skills are crucial as well as basic computer literacy, as both will be utilised on a daily basis.

The applicant should have experience as a bicycle mechanic as well as being able to assist customers with service.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCE

  • Provide high levels of customer service at every point of contact.
  • Be able to diagnose and fault find issues with all bike types, including e-bikes.
  • Knowledge of various bicycle types and technologies, Di2, AXS, EPS.
  • Ability to advise customers on bikes model and size.
  • Good communicator both with colleagues and customers.
  • Experience with relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Cytech bicycle maintenance or equivalent at Level 3 is preferable
  • Minimum 5 years proffesional experience as bicycle mechanic.
  • Basic computer literacy required. 
  • Accurately inspect, diagnose and fix issues and faults in a required timeframe.
  • Conduct Services and Repairs to the highest standards and with maximum reliability.
  • Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to customers.
  • Stock control on parts and consumables.

Term: Permanent – Full Time

Salary: Experience Depending

Hours: Full-time 39 Hours a week
